Know what to do at what time of year for grass and plant health
Because of climate and weather changes, it’s hard for gardens to thrive unless they have lots of nutrients. You also have to check pests and diseases regularly. You need pesticides and fertilising to keep the health of the plant because if they are in poor health, they’re more susceptible to diseases and pest attacks.
Have a plan for each season
- Spring – cutting back, mulching, fertilizing, getting ready for the growing season
- Summer – is all about maintenance, keeping growth under control
- Autumn – is putting back nutrients into the garden with mulching and fertilizing
- Winter – is to cut back
Pathways in front of the property for presentation
- Keep them clean and tidy.?
- Remove cobwebs
- Wash down the side of the houses
- Clear gutters
- Leave enough height of grass on them!
- Fortnightly mow and edge during the growing seasons, then minimum monthly
